Wii would like to play

The Nintendo Wii came out in 2006, selling more units then Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in the first half of 2007 combined. Wii is the fifth generation console by Nintendo, that competes with older consoles that are seventh generation. What makes Wii so great?, The Wiimote is a wireless controller thats use a pointing device, can detect acceleration in three dimensions. The Wii can also hook up wirelessly to the internet, for updates and it has a web browser powered by Opera . It is also backwards compatible with gamecube's controllers and games.
After first getting the Wii, it took me awhile to get used to how it worked because it was so different then any video game I have ever played. Playing alot of Wii Sports, which is Baseball, Bowling, Tennis , Golf and Boxing and something extra called Fitness test in one game, helped me get a feel of the system. The fitness test is great because it tells you after you finish your balance, speed and stamina and gives your mii's(your character) age.

Competitive Video Games

Ever since the first, first person shooter games came out people became competing over video games. I remember playing 007 Golden Eye for Nintendo 64 with friends when I was younger. Years later the first halo game came out, which really picked up the world of competitive gaming.
Based in the future, fighting with human and alien weapons to either kill the opposite team or to complete objectives. As the years went by halo 3 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare came out competitive gaming reach a new peak.
Playing halo online against other people I thought I was pretty good, but last year my brothers old roommate plays halo professionally in tournaments by company called Major League Gaming, MLG for short. Since then I've become more involved in whats going on in competitive gaming. We play a lot together and just watching him play I could tell that being really good at a video game can led you to into a life were beating other people in a video is what you do for a living. The top 2 halo players in the world are twins from Ohio. They play every day to get better then the competition.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a total different game, its based on real army weapons. It all types of weapons from grenades to sniper rifles. Its sort of like halo, how you have to kill to the oppisite team or to complete the objective. However the game play is totally different, its like real life warfare. All though if your good at halo then your just as good in call of duty. Competitive gaming just hit its all time high in the past couple of years

The bitten Apple

Apple has come a long way from just selling personal computers. Now they develop and sell many different types of consumer electronics: personal computers, portable media players, computer hardware and software and mobile phones. Each product that comes out draws people into like them because they have something that useful and has a nice silk look to it. Starting with the Ipod, that plays both music and videos that can be brought in Itunes. The first Ipods had track in the middle to select features and songs, now you can get them touch screens.
Itunes is a application for playing and organizing music and videos. In the Itunes store you can buy music and video and transfer them to your ipod or to your Apple TV, which hooks up to your Tv and you can wirelessly play your files on your Tv. When Itunes and the Ipods first came out, they were only for Mac OS but when more and more people started buying Ipods that didn't have Macs they made Itunes for both Windows and Mac Os.
The Mac Operating System is by bar the best OP because they are no viruses that can harm your computer. The dock is usually put on the bottom of the desktop, The dock is similar to the windows task bar because it holds all your applications. Apple just came out with the world skinniest laptop the Mac Book Air. It is so small that they couldn't even fit a cd/dvd drive, you have to buy an external one.

What does Google have instore for us in the future?

This is a product that Google is working on. Its made to exploit the internet's wireless abilities in a mobile device. It has a touch screen, built in camera, scanner, WiFi, and Google Maps all in one device. Just point it a building, it will Google image search in seconds.
Any building anywhere, touch a floor learn more details about the building. Want to know the model of a car you see on the road? Find out with this new device. This device is connected to all of the resources that Google has to offer. When it comes out you know its going to be expensive.
Will it come out to the public? Maybe not. Doesn't this seem like a gadget that Q would make for James Bond. Well it seems so futuristic that it will be only for secret Agents.

Piracy on "The net"

Piracy is the unauthorized use or reproduction of copyrighted or patented material. Theres a lot of different pirated material on the internet now a days. It varies from type to type but basically all the same. Every year it hurts all types of industries, from computer software to even comics. There are fines and even jail time if caught but this doesn't stop must people from doing it.
There are many different ways to get pirated material of the internet. Music and video down loaders by far the easiest way, applications such as Ares, Limewire, and what started it all Napster. There are other ways to download pirated material like Bit torrent, which is Peer to Peer downloads and you can find almost anything you want: TV shows, Movies, Computer Applications, Video Games and of course music.
The internet is to big to be monitored and some pirate websites are in other countries where piracy isn't illegal. Theres no way to monitor every site for illegal material. Piracy is always going to be around, industries might come out with new technology to help stop it but people are going to find ways to hack it.

88 MPH??

Watching a lot of Sci-Fi television shows and movies, I always wonder if one day time travel will be possible. As technology gets better over the years, how would this be all possible going to the past or future. Would you need a De Lorean or fly a space ship through a black hole? If I could really travel through time, I would go into the future to see how the world has change and the advances in technology. Some people might go back in time to see their relative or a celebrity that died that they would like to meet. If time travel was possible wouldn't people try to change the past and the future. Wouldn't people travel in the past and make themselves rich and powerful in the future. The world well become all corrupted. Chaos would run the streets, no one would be safe. Would it be regulated by the government , or by a private company? When new technology comes out it is always expensive, wouldn't be really expensive in the millions of dollars
